The 2013 sessions, finally delivered in early 2014.

Result of a long discussion, worrying about the sad future of our already sick planet. Almost everything is recycled, even humans. But maybe we just give things and people a new look. And all that shit we make since decades has not disappeared. It has only been recycled.

Whatever the words, the story have been told many times. I just tell it again, my way and with my notes.

My fourth opus.

Been replacing the computer i work with. And upgrading the operating system. And changing the recording software, that was not compatible. And replacing the soundcard, not compatible too. And upgrading the bunch of plugins i often use. And migrating thousands of tracks to make them compliant with that new DAW.
And... pfu... what a mess ! These are things that should never change unless you have nothing else to do than waste your time.

Well, the punishment is over now. Time to get back to work. Time for a change (a bit of...).

I went back into my barn. I'm not looking to meet people again and take part to ephemeral projects. I'm very pleased with the computer. He's never late for rehearsals. He's never fed up with practise, never angry because a track is running too fast or too slow. Never piss me off because he don't like this sound or don't want to play that piece of music. Never drunk, never lazy (well, actually, i am from time to time...).

I'm not proud to say that, but... machines seem to be easier to manage than men. More reliable, too.

Well, three more years between two projects... Forgive me Father, i have sinned. I have been playing in a band again. I met two guys, a bassist and a drummer, that gave me good hopes. We had a very good time during two years, the best i have never had. They took my songs and played them well and quickly. It took a very short time before we gave our first concert. In fact, they made me happy.
But they were in heavy metal stuff (maybe the numerous tattoos all over their bodies?...). Furious one, i mean. And i was not. So, guess what ? The band split.

I could not swear i won't do it again. But for now, i'm back to solitary work.

My first auto (recorded, mixed, produced) project.

It took seven years to make that dream come to life. Quite a while... But i have to work fulltime to live. Not in a musical world, and that's what makes existence difficult sometimes. And i have been playing in bands for several years, giving them most of my free time. They have finally all split, one after the other. So, i decided to keep on playing music alone.
When things you love go wrong, it's like your face is bumped again and again during fifteen rounds. At least, i'm not knocked out... not yet.
